This privacy policy contains information about an online website called mobile application called ‘Naar’ (collectively called the“Platform”). We are committed to respecting Your online privacy. We further recognize Your need for appropriate protection and management of any Personal Information You share with us. Though there is no mandatory registration to utilise Naar’s content, the user skip the registration process. In case, the user need to explore the content of the Naar’s, the user must register to interact with (like comment, follow, purchase etc.,) the user can sign up using mobile number with OTP, Google, Apple or Facebook accounts. We may collect the following information: Information you give us:

a)      Basic PII: Personal data such as, but not limited to name, age, gender, location, mobile number, email-id, Google/ Apple/ Facebook accounts, username, profile name and profile picture etc.

b)     Device Information: Device ID, app version

c)      User’s Transaction Data: Address, Order History, Razorpay related payment information(s) We receive and store any information you provide in relation to Naar's Services. You can choose not to provide certain information, but then you might not be able to take advantage of many of our Naar’s Services. The details and social accounts that are linked with the Naar are securely linked with the legal protocols, and all the user data is handled in compliance with Indian Data Protection guidelines and protocols.

Automatic Information: We automatically collect and store certain types of information about your use of Naar’s Services, including information about your interaction with content and services available through Naar’s Services. Like many websites, we use cookies and other unique identifiers, and we obtain certain types of information when your web browser or device accesses Naar’s Services and other content served by or on behalf of Naar’s on other websites. Information from other sources:

We might receive information about you from other sources, such as updated delivery and address information from our carriers, which we use to correct our records and deliver your next purchase more easily. Other collection of information is that as follows:

a)      Seller’s Transaction Data: Seller’s business details (GSTIN, Bank Account information for payouts), business address;

b)     Collection of preferred data such as posts, comments, likes, saved items etc;

c)      Tracking Information such as, but not limited to the IP address of your device and Device ID when connected to the Internet. [This information may include the URL that you just came from (whether this URL is on the Website or not), which URL you next go to (whether this URL is on the Website or not), your computer browser information, and other information associated with your interaction with the Site;

d)     Payment Gateways of third party including details of billing, Debit and Credit Card details; (NAAR does not store credit/ debit card numbers, UPI handles, CVV of the user, these are handled by Razorpay directly).

e)      Details of Website/App usage for analytics; This privacy policy also applies to data we collect from users who are not registered as members of this site, including, but not limited to, browsing behaviour, pages viewed etc.

We also collect and store personal information provided by you from time to time on the Site. We only collect and use such information from you that we consider necessary for achieving a seamless, efficient and safe experience, customized to your needs including:

1.        To enable the provision of services opted for by you;

2.       To communicate necessary account and service related information from time to time;

3.       To allow you to receive quality customer care services;

4.       To comply with applicable laws, rules and regulations

Where any service requested by you involves a third party, such information as is reasonably necessary by the Company to carry out your service request may be shared with such third party. We also do use your contact information to send you offers based on your interests and prior activity. The Company may also use contact information internally to direct its efforts for service improvement, but shall immediately delete all such information upon withdrawal of your consent for the same through our ‘unsubscribe’ button or through an email to be sent to support@naar.io

We collect and store your search details on the Website, including your search history, the usage of the website and the features and time you have used the website for.   Further, you may from time to time choose to provide payment related financial information while making any purchases through the application/ website (credit card, debit card, bank account details, billing address etc.) on the Site. We are committed to keeping all such sensitive data/information safe at all times and ensure that such data/information is only transacted over secure Site of approved payment gateways which are digitally encrypted, and provide the highest possible degree of care available under the technology presently in use. We shall collect and store all such information in our internal Company servers for a finite period time, as long as you are a User of the Website, and shall immediately delete all such information upon expiry of your Subscription/ Membership/ Usership.

We shall also delete all aforementioned communication upon withdrawal of Subscription/ Membership/ Usership of any single Party to the communication.   The Company will not use your financial information for any purpose other than to complete a transaction with you. To the extent possible, we provide you the option of not divulging any specific information that you wish for us not to collect, store or use. You may also choose not to use a particular service or feature on the Site, and opt out of any non-essential communications from the Website.

Further, transacting over the internet has inherent risks which can only be avoided by you following security practices yourself, such as not revealing account/login related information to any other person and informing our customer care team about any suspicious activity or where your account has/ may has been compromised.  

At every stage prior to, during or after information collection, you have the right to access all personally identifiable information provided, rectify or alter all personally identifiable information provided, restrict the level of information to be retained as per your sole discretion and object to the retention, use and potential disclosure of the personally identifiable information.

3.       To suggest products based on your browsing history, preferences and past purchases;

5.       Studying user behaviour and to troubleshoot technical issues, operate, provide, enhance service and performance, fix errors and improve usability along with ensuring the security of our platform;

6.       Identifying trends, popular categories, peak usage content., etc.;

7.       To complete your purchases, manage orders and provide customer service;

8.       To send you updates about your orders, shipping and returns.

9.       To communicate with you regarding our service through different channels like e-mail, phone and chat.

The App receives the inputs or interest from the user i.e. you and based on the interests and inputs provided by the user (you) the application shall make series of suggestion that might interest you, by which the maximum utilisation of application can be achieved. The mobile application shall only, based on the preferences, search, likes and comments displays contents to you. The preferences and likes made by the user alone shall create a personalised algorithm that our application shall run, read and deduct from you, the created algorithm shall be stored in a secured database which will be used as a reference framework in future research of the company. This information will be retained by us and it will not be shared to any third parties for any purpose.

Further, Your personal data and Sensitive Personal data may be collected and stored by us for internal record. We use Your tracking information such as IP addresses, and or Device ID to help identify you and to gather broad demographic information. We will not sell, license or trade your personal information. We will not share your personal information with others unless they are acting under our instructions or we are required to do so by law. Information collected via Our server logs includes users' IP addresses and the pages visited; this will be used to manage the web system and troubleshoot problems.

We also use third-party analytics, tracking, optimization and targeting tools to understand how users engage with our website so that we can improve it and cater personalized content/ads according to their preferences. DETAILED DESCRIPTION ON WHY DOES NAAR USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION ? We use your personal information to operate, provide, develop, and improve the products and services that we offer our customers. These purposes include

a)      To/ For display of short-form video content, social interaction, purchase and delivery of products, services, current trend etc. To empower the user to discover and buy unique, artisanal and trending products directly from seller through engaging content like videos and photos. We use your personal information to bring and bribe the gap between the viewers, potential sellers and buyers and to take and fulfill orders, deliver products and services, process payments, and communicate with you about orders, products and services, promotional offers etc.

b)     To provide, troubleshoot, and improve Naar’s Services. We use your personal information to provide functionality, analyze performance, fix errors, and improve the usability and effectiveness of the Naar’s Services.

c)      To recommend and personalize the content for you, we use your personal information to recommend features, products, and services that might be of interest to you, identify your preferences, and personalize your experience with Naar’s Services.

d)     We use your voice, image and camera services, we use your voice input, images, videos, and other personal information to respond to your requests, provide the requested service to you, and improve our services.

e)      For advertising we use your personal information to display interest- based ads for features, products, and services that might be of interest to you. We do not use information that personally identifies you to display interest-based ads.

f)       To/ For fraud prevention and credit risks we use personal information to prevent and detect fraud and abuse in order to protect the security of our customers, Naar, and others. We may also use scoring methods to assess and manage credit risks.  

HOW INFORMATION IS COLLECTED  

Before or at the time of collecting personal information, we will identify the purposes for which information is being collected. If the same is not identified to you, you have the right to request the Company to elucidate the purpose of collection of said personal information, pending fulfilment of which you shall not be mandated to disclose any information whatsoever.  

We will collect and use your personal information solely with the objective of fulfilling those purposes specified by us, within the scope of consent of the individual concerned or as required by law. We will only retain personal information as long as necessary for the fulfilment of those purposes. We will collect personal information by lawful and fair means and with the knowledge and consent of the individual concerned.   Personal data should be relevant to the purposes for which it is to be used, and, to the extent necessary for those purposes, should be accurate, complete, and up-to-date.  

COOKIES

Since Naar is a mobile application, the traditional browser cookies are not used. However, similar tracking mechanisms (SDKs) are employed, such as Firebase Analytics or Google Analytics for mobile, to understand user behavior and improve app performance. Ads are not active in the MVP, but future versions may include ads for monetization. Any data collected via analytics will be anonymized.

DOES NAAR SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

Information about our customers is an important part of our business and we are not in the business of selling our customers’ personal information to others. We share customers’ personal information only as described below and with Naar.com, Inc. and subsidiaries that Naar.com, Inc. controls that either are subject to this Privacy Notice or follow practices at least as protective as those described in this Privacy Notice. We employ other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf. Examples include placing orders, fulfilling orders for products or services, delivering packages, sending postal mail and e-mail, removing repetitive information from customer lists, analyzing data, providing marketing  assistance,  providing  search  results,  processing  payments, transmitting content, scoring, assessing and managing credit risk, and providing customer service. These third-party service providers have access to personal information needed to perform their functions, but will not use it for other purposes.

Further, they must process the personal information in accordance with applicable law. As we continue to develop our business, we might sell or buy other businesses or services. Following registration, You can review and change the information You submitted at the stage of registration, except Email ID. An option for facilitating such change shall be present on the Website and such change shall be facilitated by the User. If You change any information, We may or may not keep track of Your old information. We will not retain in our files information you have requested to remove for certain circumstances, such as to resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems and enforce our terms and conditions. Such prior information shall be completely removed from our databases, including stored ‘back up’ systems.
